Katrina I just wanted to let you know that after coming across your story on the Dukan website, you’ve been my inspiration. I saw so much of myself in what you said and since starting the diet 5 days ago, I’ve already lost 5.8 kgs.
Thank you so much for sharing your story. You’re definitely an inspiration!

Wow Katrina!! I am inspired by ur sheer wilpower and motivation. I am not far from double digits in my weight and am so excited to read about ur experience with this Dukan diet. Am heading down to the book store today to purchase myself a copy. Your recipes look delightful and I look forward to testing them out myself. On another note I wish it were alcohol i had to part with, but the cigarettes are the biggest challenge I am up against next to shedding around 30kg. Fingers crossed eh
?? Keep up the good work.
PS- where are you finding the gorgeous lingerie you keep posting????

Thanks for your help Katrina – and you look brilliant – its an incentive for me to carry on. I will do the 5 days PL & then 5 days P and hopefully will loose. Im going to try your Salmon & Courgette cakes can’t wait. Just hoping I loose weight this week as I get very disappointed if I dont loose especially so early on in the diet. Fingers Crossed. And well done again.

I would say go for 5/5. It gives more time for ketosis

Hi -i’ve started this diet and just finished the attack phrase – bit confused for the cruise stage as some say to do one day of protein and the next day to do protein and veg. But others say do 5 days of protein & veg and then 5 days of just protein – what do you suggest? and what works best for best weight loss
Thanks

Hi, I started on the Dukan diet on Monday 3/05/2010, lost 1kg by Wednesday 5/5/2010, can`t wait for phase 2 though, as I am a vegetable eater and not so much a meat person.
Seafood is a life saver! Good luck to all.

Hi Linda!
The recipe for the oatbran cake is here – http://glamedup.wordpress.com/2010/04/10/dukan-diet-week-1/
(As soon as I hve time I’ll do a list of the recipes I have)
And as to the cheesecakes. The portion is for two days, as it has two spoons of cornflour. So how ever you make it, as muffins of as a hole cake, divide it in half and thats the daily portion
I never was much of a drinker so I must admit giving up alcohol was very easy for me. I just drink diet coke on nights out. I just don’t make a fuss about it. No one knows – no one asks or make silly comments
like ‘go ahead, you can have ONE beer’.
Thank you!
